Outdoors Classique

Classique again, this time at a windswept outdoor gig up on't moors, sheep and werewolves everywhere! It was also bloody freezing and then it started to rain. Most were so drunk they didn't notice and the other thing, it saved some of them from having to have a bath when they got home or back to their caves.

Classique 2

My old mate Keith manages a group called Classique (see previous posts). Images from a recent gig in Skipton, good time was had by all.

Stainless Steel

Saw this roof section whilst walking around Attercliffe in Sheffield whilst the light of my life spent more money at Ice Sheffield, skating. I swear that I must have shares in that place the amount I've spent there over the years. Ah well, there are a number of other destitute parents doing the same for their kids so I don't feel alone.

Sheffield by Night

Great photographing Cities at night, mind you, you have to be careful as a lot of nasty things can happen in the dark. I remember photographing at night in Leeds many moons ago, my experiences ranged from being threatened to have my camera shoved up where the sun doesn't shine to having quite a pretty but hopelessly drunk young lady strip down to her underwear, if you could call the bits of string she was wearing underwear. However, I digress, these are a couple of night shots I did in Sheffield as part of a project for the City Council, bless them.

Industrial Photography

Had a job to photograph a crane refurbishment at an engineering works in Barnsley. It will remain nameless and these two images show why. Very photogenic but the H&S would have a field day!

Honda Goldwing Rally

Spent a glorious afternoon and evening in good ol'Scarboro, had a paddle and built a sandcastle with the light of my life. She gets more like her mother every day, not so much resourceful but she can make something out of nothing, must be genetic. In the evening, the Goldwing bikers (all of my generation so I didn't feel out of place) had a parade up and down the fore shore road. A beautiful warm and sunny day turned into a warm and wet evening, just like being abroad. Had my favourite meal at the best Fish and Chip shop on the front, Fishpan. The best of all fish and chips are at the crossroads of Nth Marine Drive and St Thomas Street. The owner, Terry, is a jolly fellow, tell him Steve sent you.

Here we are again

Time flies when you're having fun or so they tell me. I've lost track of time due to life in general and the sometimes crap aspects of it. But enough of the winge, it's just not me. Instead of paying through the nose to attend the weekend of Waddington, I paid £5.00 (well, my mate did) to attend the Friday fly in. One benefit of this is being able to photograph aircraft without the hassle of crowds. However, quiet a number of other enthusiasts have discovered this day so it is now getting quiet crowded again!! Here is a four-ship formation of the USAF Thunderbirds. Extreeeemly able flyers without question but still not as good as the Red Arrows.
