Food glorious food

Food photography, never done it before commercially until last month. Have a friend who has a friend etc who runs a juice bar in the White Rose. They are hoping to expand their business into providing wraps and such like (food not clothing) as well as opening other stalls in Meadowhall and Wakefield Centre. A graphic designer friend (with the help of my tame photoshop wizzo ergo the wife) was doing the flyers and posters for them and asked us to do the photography. The end product is here and I'm quite proud of it, especially since we got paid as well. One thing, next time we do it Vikki, provide some bloody refreshments!

Ice skating mularky

More new stuff I'm trying. As you may recall (I think I've mentioned it) number one daughter is achieving a modicum of success and so am I with the photography side of things. Have had images critiqued by other professionals and they have reinforced what I already know. No they're not crap, but as I'm at the beginning of my excursion into ice skating photography there are a couple of timing issues I need to address (position of the head etc). However, I'm excited to see that my images are just as good (if not better due to background selection) than my competitors. Have included a couple of images here that I took at Aberdeen (almost 3000 in total). All edited and up on the website for sale.
